Credit Cards

Credit cards are offered by banks and financial institutions to consumers who are looking to utilise borrowings for everyday purchases instead of using their own personal savings. Credit cards can be useful as emergency back-ups and unexpected expenses, overly expensive months when bills are extraordinarily high, or as part of a families overall household cashflow.

It’s important to not let credit card usage spiral out of control, because the interest rates on credits cards can be very high, which makes the cost of borrowing to be very expensive.

Major credit card providers include: VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Diners, but there are plenty of others too.
